One of our experienced estimators will visit your home to assess the volume and packing requirements of the household goods you are intending to take to Cyprus. At this stage you can request a second estimate which excludes certain items, thereby enabling you to ascertain the cost effectiveness of sending those items, customers have found this part of our international removal service very useful.

Coordinating your International Removal

After your pre-move survey we will automatically assign two of our friendly move coordinators who will control all aspects of your removal to Cyprus from start to finish. Your Move coordinators will be on hand to guide you through the process using their extensive knowledge and experience in international removals to Cyprus.

Packing and the Removal

The export packing and loading of your possessions is probably the most important part of the whole International removal process, it is important that the removal company you choose will protect your fragile household items using the correct export grade of industry approved packing materials. It is also important that they have highly skilled and fully trained export packers. If you select our sole use container service we will deliver the container to your door, pack and load your container at your residence in your presence, seal the container and it will be shipped directly from your door to Cyprus. If you have selected our 'share a container' service, we will pack and measure your consignment at your residence and return this to our warehouse for loading in the next groupage container to your Cypriot destination. Shipping to Cyprus

Once your container has been loaded it is secured using a customs type seal and transported to the UK port ready for loading onto the vessel and shipment to Cyprus. The approximate shipping times are 2 - 4 weeks for full containers and 4 - 8 weeks for share a container service to arrival port in Cyprus. Shipping Quote to Cyprus

When you arrive in Cyprus

We will contact you before your container arrives at the port in Cyprus, this is ascertain your requirements regarding delivery, if you are not ready to take delivery we can arrange storage at a extremely preferential rate. You will also be required to complete a SADT2L customs form. All consignments which arrive into Cyprus are subject to Customs clearance this can take between 3 - 10 days.

Cypriot Customs

When your shipment arrives in Cyprus we will arrange for your personal effects or household effects to be customs cleared. To assist us with your clearance you will be required to complete a statement which is an SADT2L customs form, this can be completed in the UK before your departure or in Cyprus. A customs inspection can be ordered. This is at the discretion of Cypriot customs. Please be aware that if you are moving electrical items then you will be liable for Wharf charges on larger electrical items such as TV, VCR, washing machine etc

If you wish to ship a firearm be aware that only two hunting shotguns, bore not exceeding 12G and/or one airgun of a calibre not exceeding 0.177in are permitted. All other firearms are prohibited. N.B. Many shipping lines are now refusing to carry shotguns. Please check with PSS for clarification.

If you are entering Cyprus from an EU Country then no duty or taxes are charged on new or used items. If you are entering Cyprus from outside of the EU then no duty or tax is chargeable providing:

Residence has been outside of the EU for a continuous period of 12 months
Goods are imported within 12 months of transfer of residency
Goods have been owned and used for at least 6 months prior to transfer of residency

Delivery & Unpacking in Cyprus

After clearance your goods will be either delivered directly from your container for full container loads or loaded onto a separate vehicle and delivered to your residence. Our crew will place your items in the rooms of your choice and unwrap and remove the packing material from your furniture.
