FREE ESTIMATES

We offer and highly recommend a FREE NO OBLIGATION survey of your removal requirements between 3 and 6 months prior to your intended move to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE. One of our experienced estimators will visit your home to assess the volume and packing requirements of the household goods you are intending to take to UAE. At this stage you can request a second estimate which excludes certain items, thereby enabling you to ascertain the cost effectiveness of sending those items, customers have found this part of our international removal service very useful.

Coordinating your International Removal

After your pre-move survey we will automatically assign two of our friendly move coordinators who will control all aspects of your removal to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE from start to finish. Your Move coordinators will be on hand to guide you through the process using their extensive knowledge and experience in international removals to the UAE.

Packing and the Removal

The export packing and loading of your possessions is probably the most important part of the whole International removal process, it is important that the removal company you choose will protect your fragile household items using the correct export grade of industry approved packing materials. It is also important that they have highly skilled and fully trained export packers. If you select our sole use container service we will deliver the container to your door, pack and load your container at your residence in your presence, seal the container and it will be shipped directly from your door to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE. If you have selected our 'share a container' service, we will pack and measure your consignment at your residence and return this to our warehouse for loading in the next groupage container to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE. Shipping to UAE

Once your container has been loaded it is secured using a customs type seal and transported to the UK port ready for loading onto the vessel and shipment to UAE. The approximate shipping times are 3 - 5 weeks for full containers and 4 - 8 weeks for share a container service up to arrival Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE.

When you arrive in UAE

We will contact you before your container arrives at the port in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE, this is to ascertain your requirements regarding delivery, if you are not ready for your consignment we can provide storage for extremely preferential rate. All consignments which arrive into Dubai or Abu Dhabi are subject to UAE Customs inspection and clearance. This can usually take between 5 and 14 days.

UAE Customs

When your shipment arrives in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE we will arrange for your personal effects or household effects to be customs cleared by UAE Customs. Customers must be present in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE at the time of clearance of their shipment and shipments should arrive ideally within one month of their arrival. Most shipments will be subject to a physical inspection and therefore all books/cds/videos/ and dvds should be packed into cartons together and be clearly marked. These items will be subject to review and censorship by the UAE ministry of Information. Firearms, ammunition, weapons, and military uniforms are among those items prohibited from importation. For further information please speak to our UAE removals department

A shipment of personal or household effects will qualify for free entry of Duty and tax if your goods consist of personal effects and used household goods.
N.B. brand new items will attract custom duty and if the invoice is not provided, customs inspectors will assess a value and levy 5% of assessed value as customs duty.

Delivery & Unpacking in UAE

After clearance your goods will be loaded onto a separate vehicle and delivered to your residence. Our unloading crew will place your items in the rooms of your choice and unwrap and remove the packing material from your furniture.
