A Brief History of PSS International Removals – Personal Shipping Services
PSS began in 1982 as Personal Shipping Services. Our founder, Nick Witham saw the need for a specialist international shipping service serving the needs of expats and migrants travelling from the UK to many destinations overseas.
Nick Witham drew on the experience he’d gained from working with his father in shipping cars and delicate antiques to provide the specialised packing and knowledge needed for personal shipping services.
From those beginnings, PSS expanded with the migrant boom of the late 1980s and 1990s to undertake full international removals.
Today PSS has grown into one of the largest and most respected international removal and shipping companies in the UK helping thousands of people move to destinations all over the world. Fully accredited to the highest international standards including BAR Overseas and FIDI FAIM accreditation, PSS has a high level of expertise and with professionally trained teams operating across the UK and Ireland.
However, despite our growth and success, we are still an independent family run company and hold true to our founding values of providing a friendly and professional service at a very affordable price.
