Who are the BIFA?
The BIFA (British International Freight Association) are a trade association representing UK freight forwarders, logistics companies, and customs agents involved in international trade. BIFA member companies handle the movement of goods in and out of the UK across all modes of transport. BIFA’s Standard Trading Conditions (STCs) are widely used in the international freight industry as the legal basis for contracts between freight forwarders and their customers. BIFA also operates an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service for disputes between its member companies and their customers.
