Ac cubic foot is the standard unit of volume measurement used in the UK and USA for international shipping and removals. One cubic foot is 1 metre wide × 1 foot long × 1 foot tall. The volume of your shipment in CBF is the primary factor in calculating sea freight costs. A typical 20ft shipping container is about 1000 cubic feet – enough for the average 3-bedroom house.
