What is a customs declaration?
A customs declaration is a formal document submitted to customs authorities in the destination country declares exactly what you are importing, the quantity of each item, and the estimated value. For household removals, the packing inventory serves as the detailed customs declaration. Incorrect or incomplete customs declarations can result in fines, delays, and, in serious cases, seizure of goods.
