What is the estimated time of arrival?
The estimated time of arrival (ETA) is the date and time at which a vessel or shipment is expected to arrive at the destination port. ETA is provided by the shipping line and may change due to weather, port congestion, or changes to vessel schedules. ETA is not the same as your delivery date — after the vessel arrives, customs clearance (typically anything from 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on port and country) and transport from port to your new home add further time.
