What is export wrapping?
Export packing is a specific method of protecting items, such as furniture, to the standard required for international export. Export wrapping techniques include:

- Bubble wrapping — cushioning wrapped around individual items before boxing
- Corrugated card wrapping — added rigidity for flat items such as mirrors and artwork
- Stretch film / shrink wrap — applied to blanket-wrapped furniture and mattresses
- Foam layering — sheets of foam between stacked items such as plates and glass
- Timber crating — custom-built wooden crates for items requiring the highest level of protection
