What is free time?
Free time refers to the period after a container arrives at the destination port during which it can be held without incurring additional storage or demurrage charges. Free time is typically three to seven days. Once free time expires, demurrage charges begin to accrue. PSS monitors all arrivals and works to ensure customs clearance is completed within the free time period.
