What are hazardous goods?
Hazardous goods are items classified as dangerous or hazardous for transport purposes, including flammable liquids (petrol, lighter fuel, paint, spirits), explosives (fireworks, ammunition), lithium batteries, pressurised containers (aerosol cans, gas cylinders), radioactive materials, and certain chemicals. Hazardous goods cannot be shipped in household removal containers and must not be packed with your belongings.

PSS Tip: Remove all aerosol cans, pressurised containers, lighter fuel, paints, and flammable liquids before packing. Do not attempt to include them — even a can of hairspray can cause a customs problem. These items can be replaced cheaply at your destination.
