What is a high cube shipping container?
A high cube shipping container is a shipping container approximately 30 centimetres taller than a standard container, providing additional internal height and greater volume. A standard 40ft container has an internal height of approximately 2.39 metres; a high cube version provides approximately 2.70 metres. Useful for tall furniture items, upright pianos, large armoires, and other tall pieces. It is also sometimes used for groupage shipments.

PSS Tip: A high-cube container can be useful if you need more space than a standard 40 ft shipping container but not enough to justify an additional 20 ft container.
