What is an inspection?
An inspection or customs physical inspection is a mandatory examination of the actual contents of a shipment by customs or biosecurity authorities at the destination port. Physical inspections are common and often more vigorous for countries with strict biosecurity controls (Australia, New Zealand). Inspection and other fees may be charged by the local authorities. PSS destination agents attend all inspections on your behalf.
