What is inter-modal transportation?
Inter-modal transportation is the movement of goods using more than one mode of transport within a single coordinated journey — typically road, sea, and road again — using the same container throughout without unpacking and repacking at each transfer point. This is the standard approach for international household removals. Your goods will usually be transported by road, sea and in some cases air or even rail.
