Joint inventory

What is a joint inventory?

A joint inventory is a packing inventory that is agreed and signed by both the customer and the removal crew on moving day, confirming what has been packed and loaded. The joint inventory protects both parties — it is the customer’s record that their goods were received by the removal company, and the company’s record of the goods’ condition when collected. Any pre-existing damage to items should be noted on the joint inventory.
