What is a less than container load?
A less than container load (LCL) is a shipping arrangement in which the customer’s goods do not fill an entire container, and space is shared with other customers’ shipments. LCL is the technical shipping industry term for what is more commonly called groupage or shared container shipping in the household removals context.
