What is a less than truck load?
A less than truck load (LTL) is a road freight arrangement in which a customer’s goods do not fill an entire lorry, and space is shared with other customers’ shipments. LTL is the road freight equivalent of groupage (LCL) sea freight. Used for European road freight removals where a customer’s volume is not large enough to justify a dedicated vehicle.
