What is marine insurance?
Marine insurance is a type of Insurance cover specifically designed for goods being transported by sea (and extended to cover air, road, and rail transit in modern policies). Two types are relevant for household removals: all-risks cover (comprehensive, recommended) and total-loss-only cover (which pays out only if the entire shipment is lost).
