What is a self suvey?
A self survey is a DIY method of producing a home survey remotely, in which the customer independently records and submits details of the items they wish to ship, typically using an online tool or app. The customer walks through their property, listing items room by room, and submits the completed inventory for the removal company to assess volume and produce a quotation. A self-survey can be less accurate than a professional home or video survey because customers frequently underestimate volume, but it is useful for smaller moves.
