What is unpacking?
Unpacking is the process of removing goods from packing boxes and cartons at the destination address. PSS offers two options:
- Standard Delivery Service — the destination team delivers, unwraps, and positions furniture and large items, taking away packing materials for recycling. Boxes are placed in the relevant room but not unpacked.
- Full Unpacking Service — the destination agent team unpacks all cartons, places items in rooms as directed, and removes all packing materials. This is a premium service that must be agreed upon and quoted in advance. It may not be available at all destinations.
