What is a video survey?
A video survey is a remote home survey conducted via video call in which the customer walks through their home with a camera while a PSS surveyor observes and assesses the volume of goods to be shipped. Video surveys are a convenient alternative to in-person surveys — particularly for smaller moves, customers in remote locations or for urgent moves.

PSS Tip: For a video survey, prepare by going through your whole home in advance. Have all areas accessible — loft hatch open, garage unlocked, storage boxes visible. Good lighting helps. A video survey typically takes 30–60 minutes.
