Removals or Excess Baggage Shipping?

The size of your move determines the service you require, so whether you're sending a full or part household, we recommend a FREE HOME SURVEY. If you would like to move the majority of your home and effects then this would be classed as a full removal which would entail us, more times than not, loading your effects inside your own sole use sea freight container. If you are only intending on shipping half a household or a small quantity of selected items of furniture, we will only base our charges on the volume that you decide to ship. We would transport your goods back to one of our depots for consolidation, loading and shipment to Singapore.

After your FREE pre-move survey we will automatically assign two of our friendly move coordinators who will control all aspects of your removal from start to finish. Your move coordinators will be on hand to guide you through the process using their extensive knowledge and experience in international removals to Singapore.

Prior to Removal:

Here is a brief breakdown of our door to door shipping service:

Your belongings will be loaded into a sea freight container and we will place a customs type seal on your container and transport this to the UK port ready for loading onto the vessel. We will confirm the estimated time of arrival (ETA) in Singapore to ensure that you have this information before you travel.
During the sailing we will contact you to make sure that your customs paperwork is correct before we submit this to customs in Singapore.
All goods entering Singapore are subject to a physical examination before they can be released for delivery, clearance can take up to 7 days. Items such as CD's, Video Tapes and Discs will be removed for screening by the local authorities, in some cases editing will be required which will be for the owners own account.
You do not need to be in the country before arrival your goods arrive, however we will need to submit your paperwork in advance.
An employment pass is required to qualify for free entry below. However if you do not have this in place in time then we are only able to continue with clearance if you are willing to pay the GST.
Once your goods have been released by Singaporean customs we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery day.

To Qualify for GST and Tax relief (Non resident)
*GST is chargeable at 7%

Employment pass- (not more than 6 months from date of issue)
Employment pass- (GST relief must be claimed within 6 months of arrival)
Acknowledgment letter from the Ministry of Manpower and a letter from employer.
To Qualify for GST and Tax relief (Resident)
Employment pass- (not more than 6 months from date of issue)
If all goods are for personal use and owner has resided outside of Singapore for 6 months or more.
Proof of employment outside of Singapore i.e. work or residency visa or immigration endorsement from origin.

Transit times
When shipping your personal belongings to Singapore the transit time between removal in the UK and arrival at your new destination will be approximately 4-6 weeks for full container shipments and 5-9 weeks for part load shipments.

When you arrive in Singapore

All goods that arrive into Singapore are subject to a customs clearance and we will submit all the relevant paperwork required to obtain the release of your goods, this can sometimes take up to 7 days however, this is a guide and could possibly take longer in the busier months. You do not need to be present or in the country for clearance
An Employment pass must be submitted to ensure that GST of 7% is not charged on your goods. If you do not have this in place prior to clearance you can only obtain release if you agree to pay the GST of your declared value of goods (not your insured value).
Once your goods have been released by Singaporean customs we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery day.
Once we have received clearance of your goods we will either deliver your sea freight container directly to your new home or it will be delivered in a separate vehicle. This all depends on the type of shipment you are sending. Our unloading crew will place your items in the rooms of your choice and unwrap and remove the packing material from your furniture.
