Moving furniture to New Zealand with PSS is easy work; you only have to tell us that you are interested and decide which pieces of furniture you want to ship. We operate on a door-to-door basis, meaning all the work is handled by our seasoned furniture shippers.
After our initial contact, we will assign you a specified shipping co-ordinator who will take care of your move from beginning to end, from your pre-move survey right through to delivery and unloading your furniture in New Zealand.
We carry out a pre-move survey to assess the quantities of home furniture and goods that you want to send to New Zealand so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.
Since we understand the safe arrival of your goods, our teams expertly wrap and pack all furniture items on the day of your New Zealand furniture shipping, using protected and industry approved 6 ply export blankets and complete an inventory.
We can load 90% of our full containers at the home, although this is sometimes limited due to the access at your home. If you are shipping a part-load, we take your items to our depot on a PSS truck and prep, pack and load furniture for shipping.
To eliminate any worry, we prefer to have 4 weeks’ notice before shipping furniture from the UK to New Zealand, but we understand this is not always possible. If you have an approximate moving day, we can set a provisional booking date that you can adjust accordingly.
Full or part load furniture removals to New Zealand

If you are sending just a few pieces of furniture to New Zealand, or smaller items, you will only require our part-load service. A part-load container allows you to have your furniture sent to New Zealand via air freight or within a shared shipping container and your costs will be based on the volume of this load.
Alternatively, for larger items of furniture in higher quantities, it might be more advantageous if you make use of our full-load New Zealand shipping. Your furniture will be loaded onto a 20ft or 40ft container, dedicated for your use only and you will pay one flat fee for your container. This is ideal for whole home loads or commercial premises.
